«Clair Obscur: Expedition 33» med nominasjonsrekord

(PressFire.no): Nominasjonene til The Game Awards 2025 ble annonsert mandag kveld, og det er spesielt ett spill som stjeler overskriftene.

Det franske debutant-rollespillet «Clair Obscur: Expedition 33» har satt ny rekord med hele tolv nominasjoner – mer enn noe annet spill har fått i prisutdelingens historie.

Spillet kjemper selvsagt om den gjeveste prisen av dem alle, «Årets Spill». Her får det selskap av en blanding forventede tungvektere og et par overraskelser. De nominerte er «Clair Obscur: Expedition 33», «Death Stranding 2: On the Beach», «Donkey Kong Bananza», «Hades II», «Hollow Knight: Silksong» og «Kingdom Come: Deliverance II».

Bak den suverene listetoppen følger PlayStation-titlene «Death Stranding 2: On the Beach» og «Ghost of Yōtei», som begge sanket åtte nominasjoner hver. Supergiants «Hades II» plukket med seg seks. Dette gjør også Sony til den mest nominerte utgiveren med totalt 19 nominasjoner, foran Kepler Interactive med 13.

«Clair Obscur: Expedition 33» markerer seg også tungt i skuespillerkategorien, hvor hele tre av de nominerte for «Best Performance» kommer fra spillet: Ben Starr, Charlie Cox og Jennifer English.

I den alltid populære kategorien for mest etterlengtede spill, finner vi som ventet giganter som «Grand Theft Auto VI», «Marvel’s Wolverine» og «The Witcher IV».

Hele showet går av stabelen 11. desember. Spillere kan allerede nå være med på å påvirke utfallet, da 10 prosent av stemmene kommer fra publikum via den offisielle nettsiden.
